Translation of the meanings Surah: As-Sāffāt   Ayah:

Ayah: 52

يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ
52. Yalinga angamba nti abaffe ggwe oli mu abo abakakasa.

Ayah: 53

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
53. Nti bwe tulifa netufuuka ettaka n’amagumba ameereere, abaffe tuli baakubalibwa.

Ayah: 54

قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
54. Omukozi w’obulungi aligamba nti abaffe mulaba ekiri mu muliro.

فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
55. Olwo alitunulayo n’amulaba ng’ali mu makkati g’omuliro Jahiimu.

قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ
56. Aligamba nti ndayidde Katonda wabula kata onzikirize.

وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ
57. Singa si byengera bya Mukama omulabirizi wange nnaalibadde mu baleeteddwa (eri omuliro).

Ayah: 58

أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
58. Ate ffe tetukyaddayo nakufa!.

إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
59. Okugyako okufa kwaffe okwasooka era nga tetuli ba kubonerezebwa.

Ayah: 60

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
60. Mazima ekyo ddala kwo kwe kwesiima okusuffu.

لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ
61. (N’olwekyo) ku lw’ebintu nga bino abatakabana baalitakabanye.

أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
62. Abaffe obwo bwe bugugenyi obulungi oba omuti gwa Zakkuumi.

إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ
63. Twagussaawo nga kikemo eri abeeyisa obubi.

إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
64. Mazima gwo muti guva ku ntobo ya muliro Jahiimu.

طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
65. Ebibala byagwo (okumanya bibi) biringa emitwe gya Sitane.

فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ
66. Mazima bo bagenda kugulyako bagenda kujjuza nagwo embuto.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ
67. Oluvanyuma bagenda kubongeza ku gwo eby'okunywa ebitabuddwa mu lweje.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
68. Oluvanyuma mazima obuddo bwabwe buli mu muliro Jahiimu.

إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ
69. Mazima bo baasanga bakadde baabwe nga babuze.

فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ
70. N’olwekyo bo mu buwufu bwabwe batwalibwa kantindiggwa.

وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
71. Era mazima oluberyeberye lwabwe abasinga obungi mu baasooka baabula.

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
72. So nga ate twatuma mu bo abatiisa.

فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
73. Kale tunuulira olabe enkomerero y'abaatiisibwa yali etya.

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
74. (Tewali yawona) okugyako abaddu ba Katonda abalondobemu.

وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ
75. Mazima Nuhu yatukoowoola naffe nno twali abaamwanukula obulungi.

Ayah: 76

وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
76. Netumuwonya n’abantube akabenje akayitirivu.
