Ayah: 1

ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
1. Olunaku olwokwolesa amazima (olunaku lw’enkomerero).

Ayah: 2

مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
2. Olunaku lwokwolesa amazima kyeki.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
3. Naye omanyi olunaku olwokwolesa amazima kyeki.

Ayah: 4

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ
4. Abantu ba Thamud n'aba A'adi baalimbisa olunaku olwentiisa.

Ayah: 5

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ
5. Abantu ba Thamud bazikirizibwa nakubwatuka okwamanyi.

Ayah: 6

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ
6. Ate ba A'adi nebazikirizibwa nakibuyaga owamanyi ennyo eyalimu obunyogovu.

Ayah: 7

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖ
7. Gweyabamazaamu ebiro musanvu nenaku munaana awatali kuyimiriramu, walaba abantu nga bagudde eri nga balinga enduli zemitende ezikutuddwako amasanso.

فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖ
8. Gwe mu kulaba waliwo eyawona.
