Ashamsu

Ayah: 1

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
1. Ndayira e njuba n’okwaka kwayo.

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
2. Era ndayira o mwezi bweguba nga gugoberedde e njuba (ng’egudde)

Ayah: 3

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
3. Era ndayira obudde obw’emisana nga bwerudde enjuba.

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا
4. Era ndayira ekiro bwe kiba nga kigibisse.

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
5. Era ndayira e ggulu n’eyalitonda.

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
6. Era ndayira e nsi n’oyo eyajaaliira.

وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
7. Era ndayira omuntu n’eyamutonda.

فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا
8. N’amuwa okwawula wakati w’ekibi n’ekirungi.

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
9. Yeesiimye alongoosa omwoyogwe okuguggya mu bibi.

وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
10. Aviiriddemu awo oyo agunnyika mu bibi.

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ
11. Abantu ba Thamuud, olw'obwonoonefu bwabwe baalimbisa (omubaka waabwe).

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا
12. Asinga obwonoonefu mu bo bwe yeesowolayo (naafumita engamiya).

فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا
13. Omubaka wa Katonda n’abagamba “muleke e ngamiya ya Katonda n’okunywa kwayo”.

Ayah: 14

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا
14. Kyokka ne bamulimbisa ne bagifumita. Katonda omulabirizi waabwe kwe kubabuutikira olw’obwonoonefu bwabwe awatali n’omu kuwona

Ayah: 15

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا
15. Era tatya nkomerero y'ekyo (eky'okubazikiriza).
