إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعۡتَرَىٰكَ بَعۡضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٖۗ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشۡهَدُوٓاْ أَنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ
Efwe shikhuboolangasa tawe halali mbu abanyasaye befu bandi bamalile okhukhuusilia amasila (amatinyu).” Naboola mbu: “Esie toto elanga Nyasaye abe omuloli, nanywe mwesi be abaloli mbu esie toto endi ehale muno nende akamutsokaasinjia (ninaye).

مِن دُونِهِۦۖ فَكِيدُونِي جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ لَا تُنظِرُونِ
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
إِنِّي تَوَكَّلۡتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمۚ مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذُۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Esie toto ndisichile Nyasaye, Omulesi wanje khandi Omulesi wenyu. Shibulaho eshilonje shiosishiosi halali Ye ashikholanga shingala yenya. Toto Nyasaye wanje Omulesi ali khunjila ingololofu.”
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُم مَّآ أُرۡسِلۡتُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفُ رَبِّي قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا تَضُرُّونَهُۥ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَفِيظٞ
Ne nibakalukha inyuma (boola mbu): “Toto emalile okhuboosilia akandarumwa ninako khwinywe. Ne Nyasaye wanje Omulesi alarera Abandu bandi abalali enywe tawe, ne enywe shimunyala okhumukhola liosiliosi tawe. Toto Nyasaye wanje Omulesi niwokhubikha obulayi muno buli eshindu.”

وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا نَجَّيۡنَا هُودٗا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٖ
Olwa likhuwa liefu liola, khwahonokosia Hud nende balia abasuubila halala ninaye khutsimbabaasi tsirulanga khwifwe. Ne nikhubahonokosia okhurulana nende eshinyasio eshisiro.

وَتِلۡكَ عَادٞۖ جَحَدُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَصَوۡاْ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ
Ne abo nibo Adi. Baloba ebimanyisio bia Nyasaye wabu Omulesi, ne nibaloba okhutiila amalako ka Abarumwa baye, mana nibaloonda amakhuwa ka buli Omufuru, Omushiamu muno.

وَأُتۡبِعُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعۡنَةٗ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ عَادٗا كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّعَادٖ قَوۡمِ هُودٖ
Mana nibalondebwakhwo eshitsubo khushialo shino nende inyanga yeyindukho. Wulile, ne manye mbu toto Abandu ba Adi bakhaya aka Nyasaye wabu Omulesi, ne manye mbu Adi basishibwa, Abandu ba Hud.

۞ وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمۡ صَٰلِحٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥۖ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱسۡتَعۡمَرَكُمۡ فِيهَا فَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي قَرِيبٞ مُّجِيبٞ
Ne khu babu Thamud nikhuruma Omusiani wabu (ulangwa mbu) Swaleh. Naboola mbu: “Enywe Abandu banje, laame Nyasaye. Mubula nyasaye wundi owulali Ye tawe. Ye niye owabaloonga khushialo mana nabamenyiamwo obulai. Kho, mumusabe eshileshelo, ne mumukalushile. Toto Nyasaye wanje Omulesi ali ahambi, ne afuchililanga (amasayo)."

قَالُواْ يَٰصَٰلِحُ قَدۡ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرۡجُوّٗا قَبۡلَ هَٰذَآۖ أَتَنۡهَىٰنَآ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ
Nibaboola mbu: “Ewe Swaleh! Toto wali Omundu omwisikwa mwifwe noshili okhwitsa nende kano. Oh! Okhukaninjia okhulaama akabapapa befu balamanga? Ne toto khuli nende obukanakani bukhuhelesinjia eshibeyibeyi mumioyo chiefu khukokhulanjilanga kano."
