Translation of the meanings Surah: Nūh   Ayah:

Nuh

Ayah: 1

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
Toto efwe khwaruma Nuhu khubandu bebe mbu: “Wikanyilisilie abandubo, eshinyasio eshilulu nishishili okhuboolela.”

Ayah: 2

قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ
Naboola mbu: “Enywe Abandu baanje, toto esie endi Omwikanyilisi wenyu wahabulafu.

Ayah: 3

أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ
Mbu mumulaame Nyasaye, ne mumurie, ne muwulile esie.

Ayah: 4

يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Alabaleshela tsimbi tsienyu, ne alabameta tsinyanga okhula indukho yenyu. Toto indukho ya Nyasaye niyuula, yibetsanga yulile. Abaane nimwakhamanyilekhwo!”

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِي لَيۡلٗا وَنَهَارٗا
Naboola mbu: “Nyasaye wanje Omulesi, esie enaanjile Abandu banje eshilo nende eshitere.

Ayah: 6

فَلَمۡ يَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَآءِيٓ إِلَّا فِرَارٗا
Habula omulaango kwanje shikwabametela shiosishiosi tawe halali okhwilukha.

وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
Ne toto buli olwa ndabalanganga mbu khonyoole okhubaleshela, bara tsinzala tsiabu mumarwi kabu, nibefunikha muno tsingubo tsiabu, nibekhulumamia, nibooma emirwe obutinyu muno.

ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ جِهَارٗا
Mana khandi toto nebalanga mubwang’aang’u.

ثُمَّ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارٗا
Mana khandi nebakhuumila obutinyu, mana khandi nebalaanga mubwifisi muno.

Ayah: 10

فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارٗا
Ne nebaboolela mbu: 'Sabe Nyasaye wenyu Omulesi eshileshelo, toto Ye ni Omunji wokhuleshela.
