Translation of the meanings Ayah: (142) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
۞ وَوَٰعَدۡنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَٰثِينَ لَيۡلَةٗ وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَا بِعَشۡرٖ فَتَمَّ مِيقَٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرۡبَعِينَ لَيۡلَةٗۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَٰرُونَ ٱخۡلُفۡنِي فِي قَوۡمِي وَأَصۡلِحۡ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ سَبِيلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
E fizemos promessa a Moisés durante trinta noites, e as completamos com mais dez. Assim, completou-se o tempo marcado de seu Senhor, em quarenta noites. E Moisés disse a seu irmão Aarão: Sucede-me junto de meu povo e age bem, e não sigas o caminho dos corruptores.
