Translation of the meanings Ayah: (31) Surah: Al-Anfāl
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
E, quando se recitavam Nossos versículos, para eles diziam: "Com efeito, já os ouvimos. Se quiséssemos, haveríamos dito algo igual a isso; isso não são senão fábulas dos antepassados"
