Ayah: 1

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ ۟ۙ
1਼ ਹੇ ਕਪੜਾ (ਕੰਬਲ) ਓੜ ਲਪੇਟ ਕੇ ਪੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ!

قُمْ فَاَنْذِرْ ۟ۙ
2਼ ਉਠੋ ਅਤੇ (ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਡਰਾਓ।

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ ۟ۙ

وَثِیَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ ۟ۙ

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ ۟ؕ
7਼ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਬ ਲਈ ਸਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਲਓ।

فَاِذَا نُقِرَ فِی النَّاقُوْرِ ۟ۙ
8਼ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਰ (ਨਰਸਿੰਘਾ) ਵਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

فَذٰلِكَ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ یَّوْمٌ عَسِیْرٌ ۟ۙ

عَلَی الْكٰفِرِیْنَ غَیْرُ یَسِیْرٍ ۟

11਼ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਭਾਵ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ) ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

وَّجَعَلْتُ لَهٗ مَالًا مَّمْدُوْدًا ۟ۙ

وَّمَهَّدْتُّ لَهٗ تَمْهِیْدًا ۟ۙ
14਼ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ-ਢੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ (ਭਾਵ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ) ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ਿਆ।

ثُمَّ یَطْمَعُ اَنْ اَزِیْدَ ۟ۙ
15਼ ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਲੋਭ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਦਿਆਂ।

كَلَّا ؕ— اِنَّهٗ كَانَ لِاٰیٰتِنَا عَنِیْدًا ۟ؕ
16਼ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ! ਨਿਰਸੰਦੇਹ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਆਇਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।

سَاُرْهِقُهٗ صَعُوْدًا ۟ؕ
17਼ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ (ਭਾਵ ਅੱਲਾਹ) ਇਕ ਕਠਿਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

ثُمَّ اَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ ۟ۙ

فَقَالَ اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحْرٌ یُّؤْثَرُ ۟ۙ
24਼ ਫੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਇਹ (.ਕੁਰਆਨ) ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਜਾਦੂ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

27਼ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਜਾਣੋਂ ਕਿ ਸਕਰ ਕੀ ਹੈ ?

لَا تُبْقِیْ وَلَا تَذَرُ ۟ۚ
28਼ (ਇਹ ‘ਸਕਰ’ ਨਰਕ ਹੈ) ਜਿਹੜੀ (ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇਗੀ।

وَمَا جَعَلْنَاۤ اَصْحٰبَ النَّارِ اِلَّا مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۪— وَّمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ اِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا ۙ— لِیَسْتَیْقِنَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَیَزْدَادَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اِیْمَانًا وَّلَا یَرْتَابَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۙ— وَلِیَقُوْلَ الَّذِیْنَ فِیْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ وَّالْكٰفِرُوْنَ مَاذَاۤ اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًا ؕ— كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَیَهْدِیْ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ ؕ— وَمَا یَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ اِلَّا هُوَ ؕ— وَمَا هِیَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٰی لِلْبَشَرِ ۟۠
31਼ ਅਸੀਂ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਹੀ ਨਰਕ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਇਸ਼ ਬਣਾ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਾਲੇ (ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਈਸਾਈਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਈਮਾਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਰਹਿਣ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਖਣ, ਇਸ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ? ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਿਦਾਇਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਰੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹੀਓ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ (ਨਰਕ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਨਸੀਹਤ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ।

كَلَّا وَالْقَمَرِ ۟ۙ
32਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਹੈ ਚੰਨ ਦੀ।

37਼ ਉਸ ਲਈ (ਡਰਾਵਾ ਹੈ) ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ (ਨੇਕੀ ਵੱਲ) ਅਗਾਂਹ ਵਧਣਾ ਜਾਂ ਪਿਛਾਂਹ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِیْنَةٌ ۟ۙ
38਼ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ (ਕਰਮ) ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਉਹ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

فَمَا تَنْفَعُهُمْ شَفَاعَةُ الشّٰفِعِیْنَ ۟ؕ
48਼ ਹੁਣ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੀ ਲਾਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।

فَرَّتْ مِنْ قَسْوَرَةٍ ۟ؕ

بَلْ یُرِیْدُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ اَنْ یُّؤْتٰی صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً ۟ۙ
52਼ ਇਹਨਾਂ (ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰਾਂ) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਇਹੋ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।

كَلَّا ؕ— بَلْ لَّا یَخَافُوْنَ الْاٰخِرَةَ ۟ؕ
53਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ! ਅਸਲ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਖ਼ਿਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦੇ।

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهٗ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۟ۚ
54਼ ਉੱਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ! ਇਹ (.ਕੁਰਆਨ) ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਨਸੀਹਤ ਹੈ।

Ayah: 55

فَمَنْ شَآءَ ذَكَرَهٗ ۟ؕ
55਼ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਚਾਹੇ ਇਸ (ਨਸੀਹਤ) ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੇ।

Ayah: 56

وَمَا یَذْكُرُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ یَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ ؕ— هُوَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوٰی وَاَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ۟۠
56਼ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਉਹ (ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰ) ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਖੱਣਗੇ, ਛੁੱਟ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਹੀ ਜੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਚਾਹੇ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀਓ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ।
