Ayah: 1

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
Заокупља вас настојање да што имућнији будете
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
све док гробове не населите.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
А не треба тако, сазнаћете свакако!

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
И још једном, не треба тако! Сазнаћете сигурно!

كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
Не ваља тако, кад бисте ви знали поуздано,

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
Пакао ћете, заиста, да видите!

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
И још једном, заиста ћете да га видите сасвим јасно!

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Затим ћете тог Дана о благодатима да будете питани сигурно!
