Translation of the meanings Surah: At-Takāthur   Ayah:

සූරා අත් තකාසුර්

Ayah: 1

اَلْهٰىكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ۟ۙ
තරඟ වදිමින් (වස්තුව) අධික ලෙස රැස් කිරීම (අල්ලාහ්ව සිහිපත් කිරීමෙන්) නුඹලාව වෙනතකට යොමු කර ඇත.

حَتّٰی زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ۟ؕ
නුඹලා මිනීවළවල් හමු වන තුරු,

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟ۙ
එසේ නොව, නුඹලා මතු දැන ගනු ඇත.

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟ؕ
යළි එසේ නොව, නුඹලා මතු දැන ගනු ඇත.

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عِلْمَ الْیَقِیْنِ ۟ؕ
එසේ නොව නුඹලා තිරසාර දැනුමින් දැන ගන්නෙහු නම්,

لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِیْمَ ۟ۙ
නුඹලා සැබැවින්ම නිරය දකිනු ඇත.

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَیْنَ الْیَقِیْنِ ۟ۙ
පසුව නුඹලා එය තිරසාර ලෙස දකිනු ඇත.

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ یَوْمَىِٕذٍ عَنِ النَّعِیْمِ ۟۠
තවද එදින නුඹලා (භුක්ති වින්දා වූ) සැප සම්පත් පිළිබඳව විමසනු ලබනු ඇත.
