Translation of the meanings Ayah: (189) Surah: Ash-Shu‘arā’
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ
Pero lo desmintieron, y por ello los azotó el castigo el día de la sombra. Fue el castigo de un día terrible.
la sombra: Era la sombra de una nube desoladora, posiblemente de cenizas de una erupción volcánica, que cayó sobre ellos acabando con toda la vida en la ciudad.
