Ayah: 17

وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صَٰعِقَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Y en cuanto a Zamud, les aclaré cuál era la verdadera senda, pero prefirieron la ceguera a la guía. Entonces los azotó un castigo fulminante por lo que habían cometido.
