Sura At-Tharim

Ayah: 1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَۖ تَبۡتَغِي مَرۡضَاتَ أَزۡوَٰجِكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
¡Oh, Profeta! ¿Por qué te prohíbes a ti mismo lo que Dios te ha hecho lícito, pretendiendo con ello complacer a tus esposas? [Sabe que a pesar de ello] Dios es Absolvedor, Misericordioso.
El propósito de la alusión a este incidente es ofrecer una lección moral: la inadmisibilidad de considerar prohibido (haram) algo que Dios ha hecho lícito (halal), aunque sea por un deseo de complacer a otras personas.
