Translation of the meanings Ayah: (138) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٖ لَّهُمۡۚ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهٗا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ تَجۡهَلُونَ
Hice que los Hijos de Israel cruzaran el mar, pero cuando llegaron a un pueblo que se prosternaba ante los ídolos dijeron: "¡Oh, Moisés! Queremos que nos hagas un ídolo similar a los que tienen ellos". Dijo [Moisés]: "Ustedes son gente ignorante.
