Sura Al-Masad

Purposes of the Surah:
بيان خسران أبي لهب وزوجه.
La Sura hace énfasis en la promesa que reciben los enemigos de la llamada del Islam, de la desgracia y el castigo en este mundo y en el Más Allá, especialmente a Abu Lahab y su esposa por su gran enemistad con el profeta r.

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
1. La perdición y el fracaso alcanzarán al tío del Profeta, Abu Lahab hijo de 'Abdul Muttalib, debido a sus malas obras, pues solía dañar al Profeta r. Sus esfuerzos fueron en vano.

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
2. ¿Cuánto pueden beneficiarle su riqueza y sus hijos? No pueden defenderlo contra el castigo, ni le pueden brindar misericordia.

Ayah: 3

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
3. En el Día del Juicio, pronto ingresará al fuego infernal y sufrirá su calor.

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
4. Y su esposa Umm Yamil, que también dañaba al Profeta r arrojando espinas en su camino, también entrará en él.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
5. Alrededor de su cuello estará firmemente atada una cuerda con la que será arrastrada al infierno.

• المفاصلة مع الكفار.
1. Una clara distinción entre los incrédulos y los creyentes.
• مقابلة النعم بالشكر.
2. Los favores deben ser recompensados con gratitud.
• سورة المسد من دلائل النبوة؛ لأنها حكمت على أبي لهب بالموت كافرًا ومات بعد عشر سنين على ذلك.
3. Esta Sura representa un milagro de la veracidad del Corán, ya que anunció que Abu Lahab moriría como no musulmán, diez años antes de su muerte.
• صِحَّة أنكحة الكفار.
4. Los matrimonios de los no musulmanes son reconocidos como válidos por el Corán.
