Ayah: 114

وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ
Walang iba ang paghingi ng tawad ni Abraham para sa ama niya kundi dala ng isang kapangakuang ipinangako niya roon;, ngunit noong luminaw para sa kanya na iyon ay isang kaaway kay Allāh, nagpawalang-kaugnayan siya roon. Tunay na si Abraham ay talagang palataghoy, matimpiin.
