Ayah: 1

قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌ ۟ۚ

1. (நபியே! மனிதர்களை நோக்கி) கூறுவீராக: அல்லாஹ் ஒருவன்தான்.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ ۟ۚ

2. (அந்த) அல்லாஹ் (எவருடைய) தேவையுமற்றவன். (அனைத்தும் அவன் அருளையே எதிர்பார்த்திருக்கின்றன.)

لَمْ یَلِدْ ۙ۬— وَلَمْ یُوْلَدْ ۟ۙ

3. அவன் (எவரையும்) பெறவுமில்லை; (எவராலும்) பெறப்படவுமில்லை. (ஆகவே, அவனுக்குத் தகப்பனுமில்லை சந்ததியுமில்லை.)

وَلَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ ۟۠

4. (தவிர) அவனுக்கு ஒப்பாகவும் (நிகராகவும்) ஒன்றுமில்லை.
