Ayah: 42

ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلۡأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوۡتِهَا وَٱلَّتِي لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِي مَنَامِهَاۖ فَيُمۡسِكُ ٱلَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
[39.42] อัลลอฮฺทรงปลิดชีวิตในยามตายของมัน และมัน(ชีวิต)จะยังไม่ตายในยามนอนหลับของมัน พระองค์จะทรงปลิดชีวิตที่พระองค์ทรงกำหนดความตายให้แก่มัน และพระองค์ทรงยืดชีวิตอื่นไปจนถึงเวลาที่ถูกกำหนดไว้  แท้จริงในการนั้น แน่นอนย่อมเป็นสัญญาสำหรับหมู่ชนผู้ใคร่ครวญ
