أَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٖ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ
[44.37] พวกเขา (กุฟฟารมักกะฮฺ) ดีกว่า หรือว่าหมู่ชนแห่งตุบบะอฺ (ชาวสะบะอฺแห่งเยเมน) และบรรดาหมู่ชนก่อนหน้าพวกเขาดีกว่า เราได้ทำลายล้างพวกเขา เพราะพวกเขาเหล่านั้นเป็นผู้กระทำความผิด
