Translation of the meanings Ayah: (45) Surah: Al-Mā’idah
وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيهَآ أَنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ بِٱلنَّفۡسِ وَٱلۡعَيۡنَ بِٱلۡعَيۡنِ وَٱلۡأَنفَ بِٱلۡأَنفِ وَٱلۡأُذُنَ بِٱلۡأُذُنِ وَٱلسِّنَّ بِٱلسِّنِّ وَٱلۡجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٞۚ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٞ لَّهُۥۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
[5.45] และเราได้บัญญัติแก่พวกเขาไว้ในคัมภีร์นั้นว่า ชีวิตด้วยชีวิต และตาด้วยตา และจมูกด้วยจมูก และหูด้วยหู และฟันด้วยฟัน และบรรดาบาดแผลก็ให้มีการชดเชยเยี่ยงเดียวกัน และผู้ใดให้การชดเชยนั้นเป็นทาน มันก็เป็นสิ่งลบล้างบาปของเขา และผู้ใดมิได้ตัดสินด้วยสิ่งที่อัลลอฮฺได้ทรงประทานลงมาแล้ว ชนเหล่านี้แหละคือ ผู้อธรรม
