Al-Balad

Ayah: 1

لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
[90.1] ขอสาบานด้วยเมืองนี้

Ayah: 2

وَأَنتَ حِلُّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
[90.2] และเจ้านั้นเป็นผู้อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองนี้

Ayah: 3

وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ
[90.3] และขอสาบานด้วยผู้บังเกิดและผู้ถือกำเนิด

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ
[90.4] โดยแน่นอนเราได้บังเกิดมนุษย์มาเพื่อเผชิญความยากลำบาก

Ayah: 5

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ
[90.5] เขาคิดว่าไม่มีผู้ใดจะมีความสามารถเหนือเขากระนั้นหรือ

يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا
[90.6] เขาจึงกล่าวว่า ฉันได้ผลาญทรัพย์สมบัติมามากมายแล้ว

أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ
[90.7] เขาคิดว่าไม่มีผู้ใดเห็นเขากระนั้นหรือ

Ayah: 8

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ
[90.8] เรามิได้ทำดวงตาทั้งสองข้างให้แก่เขาดอกหรือ

وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ
[90.9] และลิ้นและริมฝีปากทั้งสองด้วย

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ
[90.10] และเราได้ชี้แนะทางแห่งความดี และความชั่วแก่เขาแล้ว

فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ
[90.11] กระนั้นก็ดี เขาก็ยังไม่พากเพียรบนทางลำบาก

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ
[90.12] และอันใดเล่าที่จะทำให้เจ้ารู้ว่าทางลำบากนั้นคืออะไร

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
[90.13] คือการปล่อยทาส

أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ
[90.14] หรือการให้อาหารในวันยากลำบากแห่งความหิวโหย

يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ
[90.15] แก่เด็กกำพร้าที่เป็นญาติใกล้ชิด

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ
[90.16] หรือคนยากจนขัดสนที่มอมอยู่กับฝุ่นดิน

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ
[90.17] แล้วเขาได้อยู่ในหมู่ผู้ศรัทธา และตักเตือนกันให้มีความอดทนและตักเตือนกันให้มีความเมตตา

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
[90.18] ชนเหล่านี้คือพวกฝ่ายขวา

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
[90.19] ส่วนบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาต่อสัญญาณต่าง ๆ ของเรา พวกเขาคือพวกฝ่ายซ้าย

عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ
[90.20] บนพวกเขานั้นมีไฟนรกครอบคลุมอยู่อย่างมิดชิด
