Sûretu'l-Mesed

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Ebu Leheb'in iki eli kurusun!

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Kurudu da. Malı ve kazandıkları ona fayda vermedi.

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
O, alevli bir ateşte yanacak.

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
Odun taşıyıcı olarak karısı da (ateşe girecek).

Ve boynunda hurma lifinden bükülmüş bir ip olduğu halde.
