Ayah: 87

قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ أَصَلَوٰتُكَ تَأۡمُرُكَ أَن نَّتۡرُكَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَآ أَوۡ أَن نَّفۡعَلَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِنَا مَا نَشَٰٓؤُاْۖ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ ٱلۡحَلِيمُ ٱلرَّشِيدُ
Ті відповіли: «О Шуейбе! Невже твоя молитва наказує тобі залишити тих, кому поклонялися наші батьки, або не робити з нашим майном того, чого ми хочемо? Справді, ти смиренний і розсудливий!»[CLVII]
[CLVII] Останні слова на адресу Шуейба, як вважають тлумачі (ат-Табарі, аль-Багаві, ібн Касір), були сказані з іронією.
