۞ وَمَآ أُبَرِّئُ نَفۡسِيٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ لَأَمَّارَةُۢ بِٱلسُّوٓءِ إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
Я не виправдовую себе, бо людська душа закликає до зла, хіба що змилується над нею Господь мій. Воістину, мій Господь — Прощаючий, Милосердний!»[CLXIV]
[CLXIV] Переклад — згідно з тлумаченням ібн Касіра. Частина екзегетів вважає, що 52–53 аяти — слова Юсуфа (мир йому!) який, будучи правдивим, не обманув «шляхетного чоловіка», тобто свого господаря
