وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِيهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٞ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيبٖ
Ми дарували Мусі Писання, а вони почали сперечатися про нього. Якби не попереднє слово Господа твого, то між ними вже б розсудили! Але вони мають глибокі сумніви про це![CCCXCV]
[CCCXCV] Аль-Багаві коментує: «про твою правдивість», тобто істинність Корану.
