Translation of the meanings Ayah: (148) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَٱتَّخَذَ قَوۡمُ مُوسَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِنۡ حُلِيِّهِمۡ عِجۡلٗا جَسَدٗا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌۚ أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمۡ وَلَا يَهۡدِيهِمۡ سَبِيلًاۘ ٱتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ
Коли Муса пішов, його народ зробив із прикрас подобу тельця, яка ревла. Хіба вони не бачили, що він не розмовляв із ними й не вказував їм прямого шляху? Та вони взяли його [для поклоніння] — вони були нечестивці![LXVI]
[LXVI] Як пояснюють муфассіри — тлумачі Корану, «подоба тельця» була зроблена з золота, і його рев спричиняло повітря, що проходило крізь отвори.
