وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٗا نُّوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓۗ أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۗ وَلَدَارُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

A kò rán ẹnì kan ní iṣẹ́-òjíṣẹ́ ṣíwájú rẹ àfi àwọn ọkùnrin tí À ń fi ìmísí ránṣẹ́ sí nínú àwọn ará ìlú.¹ Ṣé wọn kò rìn kiri lórí ilẹ̀ kí wọ́n wo bí ìkángun àwọn tó ṣíwájú wọn ṣe rí? Dájúdájú Ilé ìkẹ́yìn lóore jùlọ fún àwọn tó bẹ̀rù (Allāhu). Ṣé ẹ ò ṣe làákàyè ni?

1. Lóde òní yìí, à ń rí àwọn obìnrin kan tí wọ́n ń sọra wọn di aṣíwájú ẹlẹ́sìn nínú ìjọ ’Islām àti nínú ìjọ nasọ̄rọ̄. Wọ́n sì ń sọ pé Ọlọ́hun l’Ó fi iṣẹ́ ẹ̀sìn rán àwọn níṣẹ́. Wọ́n ń sọra wọn di ànábì Ọlọ́hun àti òjíṣẹ́ Rẹ̀. Āyah yìí ti já wọn nírọ́. Allāhu - Ọba mímọ́ - ti fi rinlẹ̀ pé, Òun kò fi iṣẹ́ ìmísí rán obìnrin kan kan níṣẹ́ rí sí ẹnikẹ́ni. Ẹ jìnnà sí irú àwọn obìnrin abẹ̀sìnjẹ́ náà. Kíyè sí i! Bí Allāhu ṣe ṣa Mọryam, ìyá Ànábì ‘Īsā lẹ́ṣà tó, kò fi iṣẹ́ ìmísí rán an níṣẹ́ sí ẹnikẹ́ni.
