۞ وَقَيَّضۡنَا لَهُمۡ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُواْ لَهُم مَّا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِيٓ أُمَمٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ

Àwa ti yan àwọn alábàárìn kan fún wọn,¹ tí wọ́n ṣe ohun tí ń bẹ níwájú wọn² àti ohun tí ń bẹ ní ẹ̀yìn wọn³ ní ọ̀ṣọ́ fún wọn. Ọ̀rọ̀ náà sì kò lé wọn lórí (gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ṣe ṣẹlẹ̀) sí àwọn ìjọ tó ṣíwájú wọn nínú àwọn àlùjànǹú àti ènìyàn pé dájúdájú àwọn ni wọ́n jẹ́ ẹni òfò.

1. Ìyẹn ni pé, A ti yan àwọn èṣù ẹlẹ́tàn kan fún wọn tí ó tàn wọ́n jẹ títí di ọjọ́ ikú wọn.
2. “ohun tí ń bẹ níwájú wọn” tí àwọn èṣù wọn ṣe ní ọ̀ṣọ́ fún wọn ni yòdòyìndìn, adùn àti ọ̀ṣọ́ ilé ayé tí ó mú wọn gbàgbé Allāhu.
3. “ohun tí ń bẹ ní ẹ̀yìn wọn” tí àwọn èṣù wọn ṣe ní ọ̀ṣọ́ fún wọn ni pé, kò níí sí àjíǹde, ìṣírò-iṣẹ́ àti ẹ̀san ní Ọjọ́ Àjíǹde. Wọ́n sì ń wí pé, “Lẹ́yìn ikú, sàréè ni!” Wọn kò sì mọ̀ pé, àjíǹde, ìṣírò-iṣẹ́ àti ẹ̀san ń bẹ lẹ́yìn sàréè. Ìdí nìyí tí wọn fi gbàgbé Allāhu pátápátá.
