Traducción de significados Capítulo: Sura Al-Fajr   Versículo:

Al-Fajr

وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
1. By the dawn,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٖ
2. And by the (first) ten nights¹,
1. Of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, or the last ten nights of Ramadhan.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
3. By the even (number) and odd (of the days and things)²,
2. The witr prayer is done by praying one single ra'kah (unit) or two rak'ahs and then praying one single ra'kah. You can pray up to eight rak'ah, and then end it with one single rak'ah. Praying 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 rak'ahs for witr prayer is recommended. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) practiced it regularly and encouraged others to perform it at night after Isha (night-time prayer) or before fajr (dawn prayer). As such, praying witr comes under semi obligatory sunnah. The Prophet (ﷺ) would perform the witr prayer and say: 'O you people (followers) of the Qur'an, perform the witr prayer, for Allāh 'God' is one and He loves the witr (the odd number).

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ
4. And by the night when it (comes with its darkness and) departs³.
3. That reward and retribution in the Hereafter life is an absolute truth.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٞ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ
5. There is certainly, in this oath, a sufficient proof, for those who have sense⁴.
4. That All people should avoid all kinds of polytheism and sins. Allāh will certainly punish the deniers.

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
6. Have you not considered how your Lord 'Allāh' dealt with (the people of) ‘Aad⁵,
5. When they denied His messenger.

إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
7. (Of the city of) Iram, who had lofty pillars,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
8. The like of which were not created in the (rest of the) cities.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
9. And (also how He dealt with) the people of Thamud, who carved out their houses out of the rocks in the valley;

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
10. And Pharaoh, who possessed mighty armies and a great structures,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
11. Who (all) transgressed in the lands,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ
12. And made much corruption therein;
Las Exégesis Árabes:
فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ
13. So 'Allāh' your Lord poured on them an array of different kinds of torments.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ
14. Your Lord 'Allāh' is ever Watchful.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ
15. As for man (the denier), when his Lord 'Allāh' tries him, and (thus) is generous to him, and makes him lead an easy life, he says: ‘My Lord has honored me.’
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
16. But when He tries him and straitens for him his means of sustenance, he says: ‘My Lord 'Allāh' has disgraced me⁶.’
6. Rather than being ungrateful when in prosperity and impatient when in adversity. Be generous in prosperity, and patient in adversity. Be worthy of the trust of your neighbor, and look upon him with a bright and smiling face. Be a treasure to the poor, an admonisher to the rich, an answerer of the cry of the needy, a preserver of the sanctity of your pledge. Be fair in your judgment, and guarded in your speech. Be unjust to no man, and show all meekness to all men. Be as a lamp unto them that walk in darkness, a joy to the sorrowful, a sea for the thirsty, a haven for the distressed, an upholder and defender of the victim of oppression. Let integrity and uprightness distinguish all your acts. Be a home for the stranger, a balm to the suffering, a tower of strength for the fugitive. Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring.

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
17. But you do not honor the orphan,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
18. Nor do you urge one another to feed the destitute,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلٗا لَّمّٗا
19. You greedily consume the inheritance of others indiscriminately⁷,
7. Whether lawful or unlawful.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبّٗا جَمّٗا
20. And love wealth with an exceeding love8.
8. Let your way of life be free of the love of money, while you are content with what you have. For Allāh will never leave you, and will never abandon you.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
كَلَّآۖ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ دَكّٗا دَكّٗا
21. No, when the earth is crushed over and over into small pieces,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفّٗا صَفّٗا
22. And your Lord 'Allāh' comes (for Judgment) and the angels are arrayed in rank upon rank,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
23. And Gehinnom (Hell) is made to appear on that Day. On that Day will man (the denier) be mindful, and what will being mindful (then) benefit him?

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي
24. He will say: "O, would that I had sent forth for (this) my life (of the Hereafter)9."
9. Some good deeds based upon the belief in the Oneness of God - Islamic Monotheism.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
25. So on that Day, none will chastise (as severely) as God's Chastisement,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
26. And none will bind (as severely) as His Binding (of the evildoers).
Las Exégesis Árabes:
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ
27. (It will be said to the righteous): O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction.
Las Exégesis Árabes:
ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةٗ مَّرۡضِيَّةٗ
28. Return to 'Allāh' your Lord, well-pleased (yourself), (and) well-pleasing (to Him);
Las Exégesis Árabes:
فَٱدۡخُلِي فِي عِبَٰدِي
29. Enter among My (righteous) servants,
Las Exégesis Árabes:
وَٱدۡخُلِي جَنَّتِي
30. Enter into My Paradise.
