Verset: 258

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِي حَآجَّ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ فِي رَبِّهِۦٓ أَنۡ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكَ إِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّيَ ٱلَّذِي يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا۠ أُحۡيِۦ وَأُمِيتُۖ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡتِي بِٱلشَّمۡسِ مِنَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ فَأۡتِ بِهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ فَبُهِتَ ٱلَّذِي كَفَرَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

258. Have you not considered him (Nimrud, the then ruler of Babylon) who disputed with Abraham about his Lord 'Allāh', because Allāh had given him kingship? When Abraham said: "My Lord 'Allāh' is He who gives life and causes death." His (opponent) said: "I also can give life and cause death." Abraham said: "Then Allāh causes the sun to rise from the east; so make it rise from the west (if you are truthful)." Thus he who denied (the Truth) was confounded. For Allāh does not guide the unjust people.
