Ayah: 98

فَلَوۡلَا كَانَتۡ قَرۡيَةٌ ءَامَنَتۡ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيمَٰنُهَآ إِلَّا قَوۡمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ ءَامَنُواْ كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخِزۡيِ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

98. There has not been a 'single' town that believed 'in its entirety' and thereupon benefited by its belief except the people of Jonah. When they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in this worldly life, and gave them enjoyment for a while.

Ayah: 99

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَأٓمَنَ مَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كُلُّهُمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُكۡرِهُ ٱلنَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

99. Had 'Allāh' your Lord willed, all 'people' on earth would have believed, all of them. Will you then force people till they become believers?

Ayah: 100

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تُؤۡمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَجۡعَلُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

100. It is not for any soul to believe except by Allah’s Permission; and He will put disgust on those who are heedless.

Ayah: 101

قُلِ ٱنظُرُواْ مَاذَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَمَا تُغۡنِي ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ وَٱلنُّذُرُ عَن قَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

101. Say: "Consider what is in the heavens and the earth; but Signs and warnings do not benefit people who will not believe."

Ayah: 102

فَهَلۡ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثۡلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ قُلۡ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ

102. Do they then wait for 'anything' but the like of the days of those who passed on before them? Say: "Wait then, I am too with you of those who wait."

Ayah: 103

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نُنجِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

103. Then We will deliver Our messengers and those who believed 'in the Truth' - for it is binding on Us that We deliver the believers.

Ayah: 104

قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن دِينِي فَلَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۖ وَأُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

104. Say 'Muhammad': "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion, then (know that) I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allāh, but I worship Allāh 'alone' Who causes you to die, and I am commanded to be of the believers.

Ayah: 105

وَأَنۡ أَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

105. And 'it is inspired to me': "Direct your face towards the 'true' religion 'of Islam' uprightly; and do not be of the pagans."

Ayah: 106

وَلَا تَدۡعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَۖ فَإِن فَعَلۡتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذٗا مِّنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

106. Do not invoke besides Allāh that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do, then you will certainly be of the unjust.
