Traduzione dei significati Versetto: (3) Sura: Al-Baqarah
3. Who believe in the unseen², keep up the prayer3 and give in charity (a part) of what We4 have provided for them.
2. Such as the Existence of God, angels, jinn, life after death, Paradise and Hell, etc.
3.Keeping up the Prayer, entails performing it punctually and devoutly, observing the manner set forth by the Prophet, who said: “Pray as you have seen me Pray”.
4. It is to be noted that the reference of Allāh to Himself as "We or Us" in many Qur’ānic verses is necessarily understood in the Arabic language to denote grandeur and power, as opposed to the more intimate singular form "I" used in specific instances. This is the “royal” we or us. In English, its called the plural of majesty.
This syntax is used, both in the English and Arabic languages, by emperors, kings and queens. “We, the Emperor of …, grant amnesty to …”. And to Allah is the best example. He is the King of all kings. He is the Sovereign. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth.
