Traduzione dei significati Versetto: (34) Sura: Fussilat
34. Virtue and evil are not equal. Repel (evil) with deed that is better⁴, and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity (will become) as though he is a close friend⁵.
4. Allāh commands the believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to pardon and forgive and pray to those who mistreat them. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
5. Prayer opens ourselves, our feelings, and our relationships with others to Allāh, calling Him to bring His perspective into it all. The act of submitting our will and feelings to Him in prayer changes our hearts, slowly but surely. No wonder Allah's call to love our enemies is bound up tightly with a call to prayer: “Pray for those who mistreat you.”
