يُلۡقُونَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ كَٰذِبُونَ

(223) They pass on what is heard,^[1067] and most of them are liars.

[1067]- This was before they were prevented, as described in 72:8-9.
