وَقَٰتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ

190. Fight in the Way of Allah those who fight you58, but do not transgress. Allah does not like the transgressors.

58. A companion of the prophet said, i asked God’s Messenger, "What is the best deed in Islam?" He replied, "To perform the prayers at their early stated times." I asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto Allah." I further asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To participate in Jihâd for God’s Cause."
