كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ

Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators^[685]

[685] Those who separated from the teachings of their prophets. Another meaning is "As We sent down [punishment] on the sworn opponents [to Allāh's message]."
