يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَدۡخُلُواْ بُيُوتًا غَيۡرَ بُيُوتِكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تَسۡتَأۡنِسُواْ وَتُسَلِّمُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهَاۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

27. O believers, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and greeted their inhabitants [11]. This is better for you, that you may remember. info

[11]. Muhammad, The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Three people have a guarantee from Allāh 'God'. If he lives he will have provision to suffice him, and if he dies he will enter Paradise: one who when he is entering (or leaving out from) his house greets the inhabitants with the greeting of peace 'Islam, i.e., Assalamu alaykum' has a guarantee from Allāh, one who goes out to the mosque for the congregational prayer has a guarantee from Allāh, and one who goes out to jihad for the Cause of Allāh has a guarantee from Allāh.”
