لَقَدۡ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ إِذۡ بَعَثَ فِيهِمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ
164. Indeed, Allāh has bestowed a great Favor upon the believers when He raised among them a messenger [Muhammad] from themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book [Qur’an] and Wisdom - though before this they were certainly in manifest error [59].
[59]. The first and foremost obligation is to know with certainty that there is no true deity except Allāh. He is the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega. He is One without partner, the Creator of the heavens, the earth, and all that lies within and between them. He is the Subtle, the All-Aware, and He has power over all things.
The second obligation is to believe in the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and to affirm that Allāh sent him to all of humanity as a bringer of glad tidings, a warner, a caller to God by His permission, and a radiant lamp of guidance.
