۞ فَمَا لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ فِئَتَيۡنِ وَٱللَّهُ أَرۡكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوٓاْۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهۡدُواْ مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلٗا
88. Then what is the matter with you regarding the hypocrites [37], that you have become divided into two groups, while Allāh has cast them back (to disbelief) for what they earned [of sins]? Do you wish to guide him whom Allāh has left to stray [38]. Whomever Allāh leaves astray, never will you find for him a path [to guidance].
[37]. Who retreated from the battle of Uhud, some saying, ‘let us slay them’, while others said, ‘no!’.
[38]. Because of his arrogance and persistency in sin.
