42
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِۗ قُل لَّآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًا إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوَدَّةَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰۗ وَمَن يَقۡتَرِفۡ حَسَنَةٗ نَّزِدۡ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسۡنًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٌ
23. That is (of) which Allāh gives as good news to His servants, who have believed and done righteous deeds. Say (Muhammad): "I do not ask of you any reward for it (this Message) except to show affection [9] to me for my kinship (with you). And whoever commits a good deed, We increase for him therein goodness. Indeed, Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Grateful.
[9]. Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Be devoted to one another in love and mercy. Be kind. Honor one another above yourselves. Then you will win favor and a good name in the Sight of Allāh.

:
42
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗاۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يَخۡتِمۡ عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِكَۗ وَيَمۡحُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
24. Or do they say: "He has invented a lie against Allāh?" And if Allāh so willed, He will seal (over) your heart; and Allāh will wipe out the falsehood and establish the Truth by His words. Surely He is All-Knowing of what is in the chests (of mankind and jinn).

:
42
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَقۡبَلُ ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ عَنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَعۡفُواْ عَنِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
25. It It is He (Allāh) Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons the sins and He knows what you do;

:
42
وَيَسۡتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۚ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞ
26. And He answers (the invocation of) those who believe and do righteous deeds [10], and increases for them of His bounty. And the disbelievers for them will be a severe torment.
[10]. Allāh is listening for our requests. The Eyes of Allāh our Lord are on the righteous, and His Hearing is attentive to their prayer.

:
42
۞ وَلَوۡ بَسَطَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٖ مَّا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرُۢ بَصِيرٞ
27. If Allāh were to enlarge the provision for His slaves they would certainly rebel in the earth; but He sends down according to a measure as He wills. Surely He of His slaves (of mankind) is All-Aware, All-Seeing.

42
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡغَيۡثَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا قَنَطُواْ وَيَنشُرُ رَحۡمَتَهُۥۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡوَلِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
28. And it is He (Allāh) Who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and He spreads out His mercy. And He is the Guardian, the Praiseworthy.

:
42
وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَآبَّةٖۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمۡعِهِمۡ إِذَا يَشَآءُ قَدِيرٞ
29. And among Allah’s signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and what He has spread forth in both of them of living beings. And He is over their gathering, when He wills, All-Powerful.

30
:
42
وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٖ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَيَعۡفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٖ
30. Whatever calamity befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned (of sins), and yet He pardons much.

42
وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا نَصِيرٖ
31. And you cannot escape (Him) on earth, and you have neither any protector or helper besides Allāh.
