[6]. Put your hand into the Hand of Allāh and trust Allāh to guide and uphold you.
The mention of God’s hand appears in many verses in the Qur’an and in the statements of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Allāh called His people to trust that He as their Creator, “the first and . . . the last”, would remain involved with them. As He says, “We built the heavens with ˹great˺ might, and We are certainly expanding ˹it˺ and the earth, We spread it out. How superbly did We smooth it out! the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah spreads out His hand at night to accept the repentance of the one who sinned during the day, and He spreads out His hand by day to accept the repentance of the one who sinned during the night, (and that will continue) until the sun rises from the west.” So we should put our trust in Him and not look to those less powerful. Whatever we face as we look toward the future, we can follow the prophet Muhammad's example and place our hope and trust in Allāh. Then, our peace will be like the river, and our well-being like the waves of the sea.
[7]. That Allāh will not support His messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
[8]. As their hearts were made blind as a result of their sins.
