مَّا ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ إِلَّا رَسُولٞ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُۥ صِدِّيقَةٞۖ كَانَا يَأۡكُلَانِ ٱلطَّعَامَۗ ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرۡ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ
75. “The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger. Messengers had passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food. See how We make the signs clear to them; then see how they are deluded.”
[60]. They both were in need of sustenance, proving that they were not divine beings, unlike Allāh Almighty Who is in no need of anything while everything is in need of Him.
