مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسۡرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثۡخِنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ

67. It is not befitting for a Prophet to take captives [and free them with ransom) until he has thoroughly subdued [the enemy] in the land. You seek the fleeting gains of this world, but Allāh desires [for you] the Hereafter. Allāh is All-Mighty, All-Wise. info
