ಅರ್ಥಗಳ ಅನುವಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಅಲ್ -ಫೀಲ್ - ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಅನುವಾದ - ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸನ್ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ - ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕುರ್‌ಆನ್ ವಿಶ್ವಕೋಶ

Al-Feel

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

1. Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the people of elephant¹?

1. I.e., the army under the command of Abrahah al-Ashram which was accompanied by a huge elephant and came with the intention of destroying the Kaʿbah at Makkah.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 2

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ

2. Did He not make their plotting to go astray2,

2. Causing them to perish.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 3

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ

3. And He sent against them birds in flocks,

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 4

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ

4. Striking them with stones of hard clay,

ಶ್ಲೋಕ: 5

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ

5. So He rendered them like eaten straw.
