۞ وَإِذِ ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٖ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامٗاۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهۡدِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

124. And (mention, O Muhammad) when Abraham was tested by his Lord with certain words (commands) [35], and he fulfilled them all. (Allāh) said: "I will make you a leader for the people." (Abraham) said: "And of my descendants?" (Allāh) said: "My Covenant does not extend to the wrongdoers." info

[35]. The “words” or commands were a series of trials and duties that Abraham fulfilled completely. They include: Leaving his family in Makkah, Building the Ka‘bah, Sacrifice of his son Ishmael, male Circumcision, guiding and preaching. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Five practices are characteristic of Al-Fitrah 'the natural inclination': (1) Circumcision. (2) Shaving the pubic hair. (3) Cutting the moustaches short. (4) Clipping the nails. (5) and depilating the hair of the armpits.
