37. Men, whom neither trade nor selling distracts them from the Remembrance of Allāh, performance of prayer and paying the poor-rate. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will be overturned;
38. That Allāh may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and increase them more out of His bounty. Allāh gives sustenance to whom He wills without limit.
39. But those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert, which a thirsty man thinks is water; until when he comes to it he finds nothing. And, He finds Allāh there (in the Hereafter) who pays him full his due account. For Allāh is Swift in Reckoning.
40. Or (else their deeds) are like the darkness in a deep sea, covered by waves above which are waves, over which are (dark) clouds: darkness above each other; if one stretches out his hand he can hardly see it. The one to whom Allāh does not give light (of guidance), for him there is no light21.
21. Some of the supplications of the Prophet Muhammad were: "O Allāh, place light in my heart, light in my sight, light in my hearing, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light below me, light in front of me, light behind me, make light for me." He asked that light be engulfing his organs and all his sides, which is translated into clarification and illumination of the truth and guidance to it. Therefore, he asked for light in all parts of his body as well as his behaviors, life changes, situations, and entirety from the six directions so that he will never be misguided in any way.
41. Do you not see that Allāh glorify Him whoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with outspread wings? Each has already known its prayer and glorification. For Allāh is All-Knower of all what they do.
43. Do you not see that Allāh drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then piles them up into a mass, then you see the rain coming forth from their midst? He sends down from the sky, mountains (of clouds) wherein is hail, striking therewith whom He wills and turning it away from whom He wills. The flash of its lightning almost takes away with the sight.
