35 : 13

۞ مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٞ وَظِلُّهَاۚ تِلۡكَ عُقۡبَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْۚ وَّعُقۡبَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ٱلنَّارُ

35. The example of the Garden promised to the righteous: rivers flow beneath it; its fruit and its shade are lasting. That is the blissful outcome for those who are mindful of Allāh —and the outcome of the disbelievers is the Fire.

36 : 13

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ مَن يُنكِرُ بَعۡضَهُۥۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَلَآ أُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦٓۚ إِلَيۡهِ أَدۡعُواْ وَإِلَيۡهِ مَـَٔابِ

36. Those to whom We gave the Scripture rejoice in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad]. But among the factions are those who deny part of it. Say: “I am only commanded to worship Allāh alone, and not to associate anything with Him.To Him I call, and to Him is my return.”

37 : 13

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِيّٗاۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيّٖ وَلَا وَاقٖ

37. Thus We have sent it down [the Qur’an] as [a code of conduct and perfect] judgement in Arabic. But if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have no protector against Allāh ^[18].

[18]. The disciples of Jesus once asked, “Who then can be saved and who saves?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man (i.e., Jesus referring himself and all mankind) this is impossible, but with Allāh all things are possible." He is the only Savior. Allāh saves, no one else can save.

38 : 13

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلٗا مِّن قَبۡلِكَ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا وَذُرِّيَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأۡتِيَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٖ كِتَابٞ

38. We have certainly sent messengers before you and granted them wives and offspring. And it is not within the power of a messenger to bring a sign except by Allāh’s permission. For every term there is a written Decree [from Allāh].

39 : 13

يَمۡحُواْ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثۡبِتُۖ وَعِندَهُۥٓ أُمُّ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ

39. Allāh erases or confirms whatever He wills. And with Him is the Master Record [the PreservedTablet].

40 : 13

وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡحِسَابُ

40. Whether We show you, [O Prophet], part of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die [before that], your duty is only to convey the message clearly, and upon Us is the reckoning.

41 : 13

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا نَأۡتِي ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَحۡكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكۡمِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

41. Do they not see that We are steadily reducing the land from its borders?
Allāh judges — none can reverse His decree. He is swift in reckoning.

42 : 13

وَقَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ جَمِيعٗاۖ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡكُفَّٰرُ لِمَنۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ

42. Those before them had already plotted [against their prophets], but to Allāh belongs the master plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and soon the disbelievers will know for whom will be the blissful outcome of the final home.
