لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَهُۥ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦٓۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ
18. For those [believers] who responded to their Lord [9] is the best [reward]; but those who did not respond to Him [10] —if they possessed all that is in the earth, and the like thereof with it, they would surely offer it as ransom to redeem themselves. Those will have an evil reckoning, and their final abode is Hell. How wretched indeed is that resting place!
[9]. I.e., believe in the Oneness of God and obey Him and His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
[10]. I.e., deny the Oneness of God and disobey Him and His Messenger ﷺ.
