إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءٞ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
23. These (idols) are nothing but names which you have named, you and your fathers - Allāh has not sent for them any authority. They (who worship them) follow nothing but conjecture and what (desire) which (their) own selves incline to; and certainly the Guidance has come to them from their Lord 'Allāh'.
