[6]. Allāh placed in you [O believers] a light — the light of faith, Islam, truth, and goodness — and He wants that light to shine in the world.
When you are kind, honest, patient, and forgiving, that is your light shining. When you help someone in need, when you stay humble though you could boast, when you speak truth even when it’s hard — your light reaches hearts, even without words.
But the purpose is not so people praise you — it’s so they see the Majesty of Allāh through you. Your good deeds become a mirror reflecting His mercy, His wisdom, His love.
So walk in the world gently, but brightly. Be a reason someone remembers Allāh today.
Let your actions say, “This is what it means to know the Most Merciful.”
And when they see your goodness, let their hearts whisper, “Alhamdulillāh, how beautiful is the guidance of Allāh.”
Live in such a way that your life becomes a silent invitation — not to yourself, but to Allāh.
[7]. To where light was acquired, i.e., in the worldly life.
[8]. Be sober and practice complete abstinence from evil. Be careful, because your enemy the devil, walks about, seeking whom he may deceive and mislead him and be his companion in the blazing fire.
[9]. He who is gracious to a poor man lends to Allāh, and Allāh will repay him for his bountiful deed.
